Dear Colleague,

A hearty welcome to 2021 - we have been patiently awaiting your arrival! My hope is this finds you all well and safe as you begin the new year.

Last year brought various challenges and opportunities for all of us. We continue to live in extraordinary times and face many complexities as we manage our lives and careers. In the midst of it all, I have been inspired by countless stories of resilience, courage and perseverance. There have been silver linings including deeper connections and relationships as well as new opportunities and practices. I remain optimistic with the potential ahead and am encouraged by supportive and positive energy.

As we begin a new year, what is your greatest learning from 2020 that has informed you to make a commitment to yourself in 2021 to be your 'best authentic self'? Reflecting on that learning, determine your 'word' for the year ahead to anchor you. My greatest learning was to continuously practice gratitude as I keep things in perspective... and my word is FOCUS.
